Who writes it

I'm Evan. I pick the stories, check the facts against the sources listed on each page, and write them the way I would explain them out loud.

How a story gets in

I look for news that is easy to misunderstand: a setting that changed, a scam making the rounds, or a new product everyone is talking about. If a claim is not in the sources, it does not go in the story.

The email list
